It's a freestyle.

The voices are always yelling in the basement of my brain.

like pain, has crooked teeth

cutting off my windpipe,

I can barely even breathe.

Don't speak.

I hit transcendence at the peak.

and I let my mind run away, weightless words beneath my feet.

I'm only half of a mistake

the first part was you.

Please don't reiterate,

how I'm really not that great..

Qualities? I have a few.

My downfall was being your daughter.

Oh no - it's not your fault

blame it on my dead father.

or maybe just myself.

Because I'm the one who raised me.

I was the one who loved me,

I held me close, called me amazing.

The abuse doesn't even phase me,

just leave my sister alone,

she's only trying to save my mind.

Ourselves in each other, we try to find.

But once you're told you're worthless..

Tell salvation he never hurt less.

Look, there's my soul up for purchase.

Call me the priceless bust of an ancient greek goddess,

I'm honest.

You want to take a look but never hold.

But guess what?

I'm done being this story left untold.

Respect was never in,

taught me nothing because my 'horizons' were too 'dim'.

I can't ever win.

so let me sleep forever,

in the abyss darkness we call life.

If I could get away from you,

then maybe I'd survive.

But.. I know the truth.

Maybe I'll just tip back some pills

and leave like daddy left you.
