It's Freezing In This Heat

Just hear me out for a second

and say you really do care

let's say you think about me

just as much as I think about you

and you actually do dream of me.

Nothing would change.

So why am I waiting for a shift

feelings aren't like the seasons

floating from winter to spring

but maybe it does say something

about people and adapting to

someone else's warmth and cold.
