It's funny

It's funny, they say, How people can be so cruel. They tease and they joke, Treat you like a fool. It's funny, they say, How things get rough. You hurt, and you break, Doing your best to stay tough. It's funny, they say, How life goes on. Every moment, another moment is gone. It's funny, they say, How these are the best years of our life. Yet they're full of hatred and sadness; Why not fill it with a knife? It's funny, I say, How it will all be alright. In the midst of all the chaos, Beauty still shines bright.
