It's a funny thing, how
It's a funny thing, how one day you just
look at your friend and realize you're
in love with him.
We'd all be together, laughing like usual.
Then I'd listen closely for his voice,
so that I could really hear it.
And I find myself making jokes more
often, not to get attention,
but so I could see his smile sprint
across his face.
And his cheeks are now cuter than
ever, and his dimples almost take my
breath away.
It's funny because being around him
was always very routine and comfortable.
But all of a sudden I'm shaky and hot
and its amazing, my smile is bright and true.
I find myself wanting to learn more about him.
I want to figure him out, and open him up
and discover what's really inside.
Lately when we're standing or sitting together,
with everyone around,
I just want to kiss him and hold his hand.
I want to look into his eyes until he
can't look away.
It's really a funny and wonderful thing,
when you look over at your friend and
realize you're in love with him.
