Its Good Weather To Be Outside Today

I've imagined that I'm at the beach on rainy days, because I wear my sandals in the Winter. I've looked out of the kitchen window while doing dishes on rainy days, Searching for the beams of sunlight coming through the clouds. I've stared at the tears of water falling on our cars windows, excited about the rainbows that reflect only on rainy days. When the clouds form a grey mantle and it doesn't rain, I found still puddles that reflect everything in sight. When it's cold in the morning with clear skies after a rainy day, the dew on the grass sparkles and glitters just like flowers in the Sun. When the clouds are gone and the skies are a brilliant blue, I can barely look up without squinting, and I wish for rainy days.

I've got a little poem book I've been working on since I was about 17 or 18, and one day I hope to make it into a book. I only add to it occasionally though.

Rainbows would be the topic of a sequel to this. Haven't made that one yet of course, but I have plenty of artificial objects to account for the abundance of prismatic sparkles in my life..
