It's Hard
You know it’s hard,
To live with a disease
That can keep you from
Being so pleasant and at ease.
You know it’s hard,
When your chest starts to tighten
And you feel like no one is there
To help you breathe and feel enlightened.
You know it’s hard,
When you feel like everyone
Who is trying to help you is against you
And wants you to suffer.
You know it’s hard,
To put a smile on your face
Through all the pain you’ve endured
And still feel like a disgrace.
You know it’s hard,
To realize you’re slipping away
That the one person you want
You think they won’t stay.
You know it’s hard,
To want someone’s help
But you’re too stubborn to realize
You can’t do this by yourself.
You know it’s hard,
That you keep messing up
And I’m sorries and promises
Don’t seem to be enough.
You know it’s hard,
To love someone so much
And all you want from them
Is to be there and not give up.
You know it’s hard,
To keep living like this.
Stop letting everything get to you
And just live with bliss.
