It's Hard to Say
Its hard to just say
but i say it now
instead of speaking
I'll write it down
writing is a gentle flow
a natural hobby that'll come and go
why i write is something more
to fill my heart where it has tore
my poems are of my life
through my hard times and strife
diaries, some people keep
when i'm upset and when they weep
I find a pen and paper
which soon become my problem solver
I write till there is a blank canvas in my head
and no other words can be said
thousands of emotions and feelings
I put them into one revealing
sadness, hard to speak of
anger, disappears like a dove
so why is it that I write?
I think you can tell me this time...AB
