It's just my point of view

What can I say?

About my favorite long, 8 hour day?

Well I could tell you about school from their view

Or I could tell you my way

Pencils, pens, and garbage scatter the floor

And in the classrooms, papers and books are thrown in disarray;

Gum underneath the desks, Teachers who are quite the bore

Half of the problem I can’t even tell you

I would change all of these if I had my way

It’s simply my point of view

The school must not believe in heat, even when students shout

Or fans for the summer

I don’t think they believe in helping students who’ve had stolen shoes

Not even when it counts

I don’t know to tell you, but that’s just my view

And don’t even get me started on the menu;

A processed chicken patty and tacos made of mystery meat? C’mon man!

Each item looks as appetizing as an old shoe

And students can’t buy pop, but teachers are more that welcome to grab a can!

That seems unfair, unequal, and preposterous

But that’s just my point of view
