It's kinda funny
How you could affect me in such little time
how the thought of you could make me smile
how you were able to fill me with hope.
how now I feel shattered into a pile
how difficult this is to cope.
It's kinda funny
how you were still able to leave
how I was left crying hysterically
how you make me feel the need to ditch these skin and bones
now that everything is so uncomfortable
It's kinda funny
how I'll close my eyes and your face is sketched to the back of my eyelids
how the fresh memories of your kisses and touch are benighted
how foolish I am to weigh my decisions on emotion
how I wish that for just once my relationships wouldn't become broken.
It's kinda funny.
Yeah, it's fucking funny.
How I repeatedly do this to myself
enter relationships where the partner loses interest
and their cares.
How I'm always left alone
putting myself back together.
This sketchiness, yet of course
It's fucking hilarious.
