It's ME
There, that girl over there,
little meek and short with black Rapunzel hair.
Maybe I see a bulge in her body ever which where.
Her eyes maybe dark,
or her mood maybe stale and parked,
but that's not the real her.
Cause her real self is not that reflection over there,
in that reflection from that mirror which only shows her mare.
But it is over here, from her own heart.
From the person looking at herself, Me.
I, I am four feet and eleven inches,
Not even five feet yet.
But I feel like I'm on top of the world.
I don't wear high heels to elevate myself
Or to make my legs look thinner,
But maybe it's cause I think it'll hurt my legs
and will cost way too much.
I don't use make-up to cake my face.
I think my eyes look like shinning stars,
even without the eyeliner and mascara.
Some say it looks like a dead fish's eye,
but I say, "It's ok, as long as I can still see."
I love dressed, but I would never wear them.
Not because I don't look good in them,
but because I'm more of a tomboy.
I jump and run way too much that
I'd flash and moon the world.
Plus, I am bulkier than the stick models who wear them on ads.
I try to take "selfies" from the top,
Cause makes me look skinny and pop.
But I find it way too hard to hold up the camera,
and have to snap the photo at the same time.
My face is round and unique, I don't think it needs altering.
In the end, It's not the picture they'll be friends with,
It's me, and this is me.
Someone who is carefree of how she looks.
I feel beautiful,
Inside and Out.
