Its Me

Wiping off the paint that masquerades my natural visage,

I gaze into the looking glass and se somthing I can't dodge,

Its me,

The realest version of the me I see,

Im not a monster or a creature,

I am a beautiful human who came to love her every feature,

Its me,

The greatest versionof the person I am- the only one I can be,

I am proud to carry Spanish roots from Colombia,

This woman I am is a reality not an idea,

Its me,

Standing tall and strong like a tree,

Because I am happy to be .. me.
