Its a Mosquito Kitten Hybrid! Run!

To whom it may concern:

There is a danger of which I am sure you have not learned.

There is a creature that defies all earthly description!

Straight from the pages of a sinister science fiction!

I am here to warn you! Beware the danger may never cease!

As this monster longs to glut, and this monster longs to feast

This monster is a ferocious (though oddly charming) blood thirsty beast!

It was a lovely beautiful sun-shiny day...

All the neighborhood children ran out to play.

Tucked safely inside his lab, yes, tucked safely hidden away,

My science teacher looked out the window and was inspired to change the world that day.

He set to work with a hum.

Oh what fun! What fun!

He set to work with a song.

And the work was coming, coming along!

Soon he would be free,

Oh, what a scheme!

Yes soon he would be rid--

of the awful no good nasty noisy kids.

I do not know his procedure, his modus operandi--

Only that it involved maniacal laughter and copious quantities of fiery brandy!

Perhaps he slaved like Doctor Frankenstein,

Stitching away until over time,

He had pieced together a patchwork thing,

Diseased and mangy with a terrible sting.

Perhaps he worked like the founders of the Jurassic Park--

Puzzling together DNA better left in the dark.

However he did it, however he managed,

He created a new weapon for his own evil advantage!

Amid the slime and the grime and the clutter,

A new breed of devil was born, its wings all a flutter.

The body of a kitten, very soft and very sweet--

A bundle of beautiful fur standing on perfect kitten feet--

With the head and eyes of a DEMON raging to feast!

Compound eyes like that of a bug!

A gruesome face fit with a proboscis--

That not even a mother could love!

What do you call this?

What can this be?

IT’S A MOSKITTEN!!!!

PREPARE TO FLEE!!!!!

Giggling my teacher gave a primal scream,

Ecstatic to the breaking point as he opened the windows and set them free!

Yelling and crying the children scattered--

But their attempts to escape never mattered!

The children were caught in the moskitten’s paws,

Their blood was drawn up through tubular maws.

Only I remain to sound the alarm...

Only I survived this terrible harm...

But I digress, I must confess…

I have plotted for your time to come!

You are over finished kah-put, done!

For while you have sat here smitten,

By my charm, and this unearthly tale,

You have attracted dozens of hungry moskittens!

You will soon hear the eerie wails!

The moskittens are buzzing after you!

They want to run you through and through!

Until your red blood is gone and your faces are blue!

I pity your demise, this is a ghastly assassination…

But I need the extra credit

So I can pass my examinations.

Sincerely,

The Mad Science Teacher’s Most Faithful Student
