IT'S A NEW DAY!

It’s a New Day!

There are times, they say

That days go on and on, without end

To the displeasure of many

We see them come and go, as they please, without worry

What is it that makes the difference, for some, but not all

What is it they seek from Monday to Sunday

What indeed can it be that some see, and others miss, while others couldn’t care less

Could it be in-sanity? Could it be genius? Could it be nothing, at all?

Everyday the Sun rises, everyday it sets

Filled in between with this, that and the other

So mondane, I can barely breathe, so the same, I feel dead…inside

Then I realize the reasons don’t matter, the feelings, much less

it’s the uncertainty that appeals when the truth is revealed

we live in the moment, there’s no time to wonder

it’s the charm, of the possibilities that resound

everyday it re-sets, so who knows what could happen.... this day

with this, that or the other

so it doesn’t matter, what people say

we get up, to greet the mystery it brings

WHAT DAY IS IT!

it's a New Day!
