Its Normal To Not Feel Normal

In that span of five minutes I had forgotten my name

The date the year the month the task of what I was gonna do today

I spend my times indoors and they say I save lives but i don't feel like it

Oh gosh the weather is so beautiful outside and people are freaking out

Acourse they don't feel normal but who is to blame their world is changing

So I guess what right now what should be normal is not feeling so normal

You will obviously have a wave of emotions strike you from all given directions

Your goals thrown off into somewhere different like a Christopher Columbus story

While your ship leaves the land of people who you have been connected with

6 feet doesn't seem that far but trust me you cant via bluetooth all the hugs you've missed

Like a payday that never arrived whether you're an introvert or not it's the simple reality

People need people but the ironic beauty is also were in this all together

Witnessing an event to last in the textbooks for future generations to listen and read on

You will be remembered as the strong that was able to overcome a pandemic of ages

Also to be remembered as the frantic who stocked up on too much toilet paper

Seriously guys I don't plan on wiping with sandpaper save some for me and everybody

But the real issue is the people who aren't getting the supplies they really need

Yea its nice to see you bought five hand sanitizer bottles but didn't leave any for anyone

Like the eldery with already going on battlefields underneath their skin in their bodies

Or the nuclear war zones of cancer patients trying to survive and finally get to go home

Ignorance and selfishness is the invisible pandemic fighting aside this current one

Realizing their are kids who have to see their parents everyday because they got laid off

Which really does suck but hang in there tight because doctors, nurses, and responders

Working day in day out are soon about to bring the cavalry and be our DC Marvel heroes we so desperately needed close to ending this calamity

My uncle sam would say today “I want you to quarantine today” Isolation today

For an ending pandemic tomorrow
