It's not just about me
To want
to feel
to see
from the point of me
to love
to appreciate
to embrace
the same way I do
to listen
to understand
to offer a helping hand
what I need isn't just for me
it's for all of us
don't you see?
She's here
she was then
and she is right now
but the future isn't her's to promise
it's in your hands now
She cannot speak for herself
so try listening through your heart
she gives and gives
yet it's never enough
so we become thieves
when I think of what I need
I can't help but think of her first
because she needs me
and what I need is for you to see
see through the eyes of me
Mother Nature is crying out
don't you see?
It's time to see
