But It's Okay

I'm ten pounds over my ideal weight

And it's here to stay.

But it's okay.

My hair is stringy and it's stick straight

And it won't behave.

But it's okay.

I have asthma and am bad at sports

And I can't play.

But it's okay.

I look really bad in short shorts.

And I regret that day.

But it's okay.

It's okay because despite these things,

I choose to say

That I'm okay.
