It's Okay
Father Time has long since lost track of his days,
Mother Earth spends hers wishing her children would respect her.
Sunday spends her hours fretting,
Monday spends his minutes griping.
Tuesday is a little happier, but not by much
Wednesday has accepted his fate as the middleman.
Thursday tries her hardest,
but Friday always steals the spotlight.
Saturday spends too much partying,
because he always loses himself in the crowd.
The clouds weep much more than they would like,
and the sun and the moon just can’t seem to get along.
The wind used to sing with the birds,
but now she only howls between the trees.
So who’s to say you’re not allowed to have an off day?
