It's Okay to Cry Sometimes

When it gets hard, and you feel the tears threatening to spill Be strong; find the inner motivation to not let the trail of liquid cut through your dry skin Bite your lip to prevent it from trembling, Don’t show them that it hurts Wait until you’re in your room alone, with nothing else to do And just let go. Let your tears fall. Let your shoulders shake. Let your nose run. Because you can’t always be strong, That would only lead to a breakdown, a collision of overwhelming proportions Then you would have no control And you would surrender to your emotions
