It's Older Now

Getting older is getting faster

Growing up is a disaster

But I'm not ready to be independent

I'm terribly insufficient

My life has always involved adults

Now I'm the one children insult

This can't be happening to me

I'm not ready to pay bills with money

I'm still a kid inside

I'm not mature enough to provide

I don't want to live without that guiding hand

I don't want to move on and 'be my own man'

It's not gonna happen

I won't let this happen
