It's Only A Phone Call

I’m going to do this

That’s not to say I want to

That’s not to say I’m leaving

I’m steady here

If only it were more convenient

I couldn’t care less, though

Really in the long run…

Since there is always a tone of bubbling uneasiness

It’s always winter here

Or early early spring

I don’t think it ever changes

It seems like a vacuum

And I feel like a bird

God knows why

Perhaps because I’m fragile

I owe myself to her right now

Her and her birds

This is an accidental shrine of her beloved

I should kill my inhibitions and call her

She doesn’t understand

It’s guilt- she’s very accomplished in it

I need to do something

I’ll write a letter

Hello Tutu, I was just thinking about you. I know you’d probably prefer if I called, and I know it’s probably good to practice, but I hope this will brighten your day and be satisfactory, nevertheless. I wanted to say hello and I hope your week is going well- I’ll see you on Sunday- I have lots to tell you! Have a lovely day!
