It's A Rant

Poetry

Seems like a bunch of words on a page

None of which makes sense

But the emotion behind it

The meaning

Captures us all

That's how it started

Just a rant

Just a cry for help

And I was a poet

Trying to show the world

That it needs to change

And that a sad girl

Was going to fix it

Emotions and ideals

All spilled together

And there it was

My Poem

My Rant

My lifeblood

For the world to see
