It's A Secret
This is story of a girl whose head was removable. She could take it right off her shoulders without even flinching, though no one knew this. People would look at her and say "There is something about that girl, there is." Many thought she was special, something to look at and enjoy. Not in a wrong way, but when you looked at this girl you couldn't help but be filled with joy. People would stop and look to see this girl's smile. They would quiet down to listen to her laughter. They would be speechless when looking into her eyes. In her town the people would swear that two stars fell down from the heavens and landed in her eyes. For they were the brightest anyone had ever seen. They believed her laughter was music; her smile, a painting. And her hair, the color of rich coffee with waves like the ocean itself. At the end of the day this girl would smile and giggle one last time then venture up the trail that led to her home. She would climb the steps that led to her room, and once inside she would sigh. “Why sigh,” you may ask. Well, this girl with her waves of coffee and her glistening eyes was troubled. Inside this girl was nothing but knots and tangles, curves and turns, ups and downs. She would set her head aside and empty out everything she thought that day. For inside her head there were no pleasant thoughts. She thought the worst things imaginable. Things that would make people gasp and scream. She would empty out her head and make room for the next day. But would you like to know a secret? The secret behind her smile and laughter and eyes? Well, those dark thoughts, she loved them more than anything in the world.
