It's Strange
What does it mean to be "normal"?
You are enclosed within society's exhausting boundries;
The person you want to be is separate from the person you really are.
What does it mean to be "abnormal"?
You are afraid to be different because the ones who are,
Are left out in the cold.
But aren't we all abnormal?
Haven't we all been told we are unique in our own way?
So what does it mean to be "normal"?
You tell me,
Because as I sit here writing this,
I reach for an answer but fail to lay my hands on one.
I want to change the way people think of the word "abnormal".
I want people to see it for what it is:
Accepting who you are- unique in your own way.
