it's those moments where

it's those moments where the storm takes over, swirling in my head,

lazily twirling its way into my lungs,

that the only thoughts that seem to calm me down,

are the the ones that involve them.

memories of their silly little grins that seem to hide mischievous actions

eyes that twinkles strong enough to light up full galaxies

chubby little hands that seem to snuggle perfectly into mine

it's them

whose innocence leads them to believe that the ripple in the lake,

was really a mermaid encouraging a game of hide and seek

innocence that prevents them from blowing dandelions,

incase a sleeping fairy is disturbed

they ignite my imagination and walk me through their world of daydream
