It's time

Everyone says love is the most important thing if we would just love, the world would be a better place If that’s so, tell me Why then, when there is a man on the street do we turn and act like we do not see? Why then, when someone falls flat on their face do we point and laugh, putting them in disgrace? Why then if someone is a different color a different race a different orientation or just plain different do we treat them like the plague? Why then is it so easy for us to say you’re ugly you’re stupid you’re not good enough rather than “you are beautiful”? Whey then do we only see hypocrites around us and not in us? Because then we would realize We do not practice what we preach we do not act the way we speak but it’s about time we start Though it has become cliché this I know as true: Love is the most important thing and if we would just love the world would be a better place
