It's Time For A Change
Maybe not knowing,
Is what’s best for us.
Maybe that’s what lets us keep going,
Keep growing.
In life there are always unanswered questions that are asked.
There’s always that person who asks, “What if?”
But those are the people who never leave their past.
They never attempt to climb that cliff.
You never get it perfect.
It’s not always your way.
You’ll always be a suspect
No matter how much you pay.
There’s people you don’t care for
There’s things you’re too lazy to do.
I’ll tell you right now, there’s the door,
Maybe then you’ll see life through a different view.
It’s not all about rainbows and roses,
Or money and superficial things,
But it’s what our life composes,
And it’s the story behind those rings.
Society is no longer the same,
People act nothing like they used to
Everyone points the finger at someone else to blame.
Soon enough social class with just fall through.
Religion is no longer believed,
People pass it off as if it doesn’t matter,
Everyone is all just deceived,
They want it all served to them on a silver platter.
Greed controls the hand,
And Love controls the mind,
They gather us more land,
And leave the heart behind.
