it's too late...

you been gone for about a month

people think that’s long enough but my mind is going crazy and things are getting tough

when you told me it was over, i never really found another reason to not puff..

i’m tryna buff my heart out to get these scars out, but all this shit do is just scuff

the clenchings of my fist made it hard to tell you i couldn’t see you which made you pissed,

but when we had time to spend together, your presence would become a miss

therefore, i’d rather stay home and talk to you then take the risk and have to watch you dismiss and have me doing nothing but my life calling out for you to exist

i thought it was me making you distant

every night i’d think of things to fix, but the factors always ended up nonexistent

it makes me vexed on how i was nothing to you but consistent

and all you were to me was resistant, treating me like i was your damn assistant

but now, i’m done, i’m trying to move on, and just know it’ll be too late to notice my persistence.
