Its where my Struggles Are
My poerty is Real
Believth in all my struggle Cause its Real
Tell me how do you judge me
as a strong woman that doesnt care
or a weak one that hides behind a smile
bet you aint know i could write
or maybe you never knew i was real
I write because i struggle
so instead of venting to you
i vent to a white paper or even a white computer screen
does that make me races or just real
remeber im black to
i write to run away from my pain
to walk away and hide to
or maybe to site in a corner and constaplate on the heart that beats in me
i write to ask God how dare you create something so ugly inside and out
i write to leave this life to enter in some alternate universe where maybe just maybe someone wants me
OTHER THAN ME
or maybe they do and i just cant see it because i have built a wall so thick a bulldozer couldnt crash it
dont worry my vision is 20/20 so i see you on the otherside of the only door
but the door leads to my heart so no matter how hard you knock i will never answer
oh my bad i was still somewhere where someone wants me
i write poetry because its my virtual tears
because its where im free
its where im loved by someone other then God
a paper that opens it arms believe in me past everything
I WRITE BECAUSE
its where my struggles are
