It’s Already Been Laid Down

The future is there

Dictated by His words

Yet no one seems to know

On how it’s going to go

“The End is really coming!”

All day, that’s what they’re chanting

And every day, my heart goes on pounding

Yet only God has all the knowing.

I’ve killed my self & did my best

Just to change & live the life to the fullest

But I wonder, when will my heart be given rest?

From this fear, who seems to be a lethal pest?

Yes, this fear of the tomorrow

Because this life is only borrowed

And I may not be saved,

And if I die-

I might go to eternal fires!

Oh God! Give me peace!

And remind me,

It’s already been laid down.

And the rest is about to come.
