I've Been Redeemed

I've been redeemed by my merciful lord 
he has release me from this evil patch of 
thorns . 
My heart couldn't take no more of this 
Ungrateful world , 
My heart of mine was packed with sin  
Of my painful life , 
My head and my heart was cold as Ice  
But now I have been redeemed with the  
Blood of Christ , 
I was in tangled in evil and strife, but my 
Merciful lord cleansed me and gave me a new  
start in my life and he gave me a new meaning 
To his love ,I've been redeemed and I was set clean 
And I even got to learn God's name . 
I've started reading my Bible day and night and taken  
Down all that was night right in my life , 
All my old friends started calling me names . 
And the on call of old flames , 
I called out on God's name and he gave me power  
To walk to the high Tower of his love , 
He is my king who could ever hurt me if God is with me , 
I been redeemed , I have been washed clean . 
I don't care what this cold world has to say  
I never want to look back on what was in my past  
Because it has been washed away by my Lord Jesus  
Who died for me , Who died for his people .  
The lord is the only way to live an upright life, 
He gave me hope , He gave me freedom and thought  
Me who his Father is , 
God has a name , His name is Jehovah the most high 
I've been redeemed by my merciful lord, and a wonderful 
God ,now the angels above will cheer with trumpets 
And horns, while the wicked below now consider me 
An abomination. 
The path of righteousness , to better day's .  
I've been redeemed by my merciful lord, 
I give him thanks, I give him praise, for saving me with  
His blood , And letting me know his Fathers name I  
Dearly love . God has shown me his steadfast love and compassion, 
For all he has call'ed his own . 
This cold world of darkness don't have anything for me , 
I have been washed clean .
