Ive finally come to accept
Ive finally come to accept that my worth is not measured by
My appearence,
My brains,
My belongings,
But my actions.
My worth is not dependent on the boy,
who wont text me back,
the same boy,
who doesn't acknowledge my existence.
My worth is not dependent on the friends,
who just so happen to forget to invite me to the party,
or the same friends,
who laugh about me behind closed doors.
My worth is dependent on my ability to fight.
My abilitiy to perservere,
My hope.
My heart.
My worth is not depdendent on the filters I use,
The likes I reciece,
The followers I have.
Three years ago today I would not be able to sit down and see that my worth was not dependent,
on others,
but on me.
For I was in a dark hole,
But that dark hole,
That is what made me whole.
That is what made me, me. #Nofilter.
