I've found love is shown in seven.

My family was two,

When my parents became one.

Then a third came.

Joy he brought with him,

Though he was the naughtiest of them all.

A fourth came afterwards,

Joy he brought with him,

Though he was a great financial burden.

So my parents worked even harder.

I – the fifth – then came,

Joy I brought with me,

Though I nearly killed my own maker.

So I too added to the struggle for money.

And my parents worked even harder.

The sixth followed me.

Joy she brought with her,

Though she was expected to be a he.

So she was ever so special.

And my parents worked even harder.

True love, they showed us all.

They worked and worked and worked

And worked(96 more repeats have been left out for sanity),

Until they shattered the median income.

However, they still managed to make time for us.

Never were they so consumed in work I had to step into a day-care.

And they taught us the love of God,

And they taught us to love one another .

Indeed: me, my brothers, and my sister all care for each other.

And though they can be extreme pains(never me!),

We have learned to not do things that annoy one another.

We make compromises with each other,

But do not try to take advantage of one another.

We all help with maintaining the house, so we all live in harmony.

But my parents were not satisfied with just bringing four children into this world.

No, they wanted to save three more from the system – through adoption.

The seventh, eight and ninth joined us.

My new siblings are they reason I am able to write this.

They showed me how freaking amazing my parents are!

The patience and wisdom they show when

Trying to teach them what they should and should not do –

It makes me really understand that I can and never will be able to repay them

Because wisdom, care, and compassion do not have a price tag.

They gave all their comfort, money and time for us seven children,

And for that, I can truly say: they are the most awesome people in my life.
