I've got trouble on my mind

Day in and day out, I have a war going on in my head.

The atrocious thoughts won't pause for a second, not even when I go to bed.

I've got trouble on my mind.

He doesn't listen to me, and always picks a fight.

We can argue for hours, but I know I am always right.

I've got trouble on my mind.

The words come spitting out like venom from snakes.

I love him more than the world, but he makes my fragile heart ache.

I've got trouble on my mind.

Maybe one day he will change, and we can end this war.

No matter what, he will always be the person who I adore.

But until then, I've got trouble on my mind.
