I've loved and now I love

I love you

I love you have always been something I had difficulties saying to those outside of my family

Just those three words alone could have made me regurgitate last night dinner

But with you, they are sweeter than aged honey in my mouth

They way how the word just roll off my tongue with emotion, care, and purpose

Because now when I say I love you

I mean it more than the numbers of stars in  the night sky

More than there are words to describe the amount of love I have for you

More than my lungs love the air that flows through them

I love you to me means

I will place none above you

That I am giving you my heart to do as you please

And all I can do is hope and pray that I wont be left behind in these streets

So when you do have your doubts or when are lost in thoughts just know when I say I love you I said it because it means more than life itself to me
