Ivy
Shades of green and aqua blue
heavy emptiness in my heart
Heavenly blue sea
shimmer and salty water
floats my guardian angel
Rocky sand covers my swollen feet
While my dancing oval eyes
Shut tight, glued to the sounds
of incoming waves,
whispered across
rocks like a sweep of silk.
Mind far away from the sea
Entering another space
composed of ice and rocks
A Pluto, of the imagination
Her voice comes to mind;
Warm and comforting,
peaceful to the ear
Breeze of summer nights
Blowing my curly blonde hair
I believe, it was her
Touching my cold, yet soft heart
Chills running through my body
just like they did seven years ago
the absents of her body, my creator
When she whispered language of wisdom in my ear
love when you’re ready, not when your lonely
looking for love I found nature within myself
music notes she would sing gratefully
at the top of the bed, comforting me
with a forehead kiss.
Opening my eyes
to birds and waves, laying on sand;
Watching the sunset
Fade into night. Finally, she is at rest.
