I’ll Try
As I sit and stare into your eyes
My emotions overcome
And fill me inside
I cannot say how or why
But my heart chose you to stay by my side
And I hope that your heart chooses the same
But if not
I will live with the pain
For I think I will always be the same
But in the slim chance it does choose me
To make you happy will be my responsibility
And if I fail at this responsibility
I wish you tell me so you may feel tranquility
For that is one of my hopes in life
That you may always avoid pain and strife
Because I know you have already felt a lot
And you try to get over it with everything you got
I’m not very good at explaining my feelings
So I write them all down
Or save them for dreaming
Something wrong with this poem?
