I’m The Bad Guy
I believed you
And again you told me a lie
But because I’m mad
It makes ME the bad guy
I’m not allowed to feel things
You throw the pity party
And when the phone rings
You want ME to say sorry…
Maybe you’re right…
I’m sorry baby
For getting upset
And I won’t get mad
Over the things you regret
You say you’ll get better
And this time I’ll trust you
Despite the fact
the last time I did that
Your actions felt like a “screw you”
I’m sorry I’m not a robot
I can’t get over it in one night
I’m sorry baby
We ever got into a fight
Let’s go around in circles
And play your silly little game
See who the winner is
When I leave our place in flames
Give me gas and a lighter
And I’ll do just that
Wish I could rewind time
And steal my heart back
Remember when things were good?
Yeah, neither do I
I should’ve listened to my heart
When it said you’re not the guy
Just remember the next time
You tell me a lie
That you’re sure to also tell me
That I’m the bad guy
