I’m Hurt Too Guys, Nevermind
I’m Hurt Too Guys, Nevermind:
I treat everyone so nicely,
I’m the nice one,
The nice one to friends, my class, and my family.
Yeah, I have some attitude, yeah I’m a little sassy,
But I have these good intentions,
To make everyone happy.
I know when they’re sad,
I know when they’re not feeling well,
I know they try to hide it,
Don’t worry, I can tell.
I usually text first,
But not so much I’m clingy,
I just want to make you laugh
I want you to think of me as funny
Because you deserve it, honey.
But I also have my downfalls,
I also deal with pain,
But I like to keep to myself,
You’re more important than the night falls.
You’re more important in ways I can’t imagine.
We’ll be friends for a while,
I trust you with my life,
You’re not the one who has to take action.
“What do mean?
Of course, I’m fine!
I’m the happiest right now!
Nothing’s out of line.”
That’s what I say to them,
It’s really nothing new,
I try my best to hide it though,
Who knows if I’ll make it through.
When I talk about my problems,
It leads up to yours,
It’s not that I don’t care,
It’s just I’m the one who has to repair
Repair the hurt, the sadness you feel,
But I have problems too,
Like hey man, what’s the deal?
Nevermind that, what’s been up with you?
How have you been up to?
Anything new?
What? No, let’s not talk about me.
I asked how you were doing,
Come on, this is reality.
