I’m not going back

To the way it was

I’m here now

And it feels so cold

Cold isn’t a temperature

Its a feeling

Uncertainty

Racketeering back and forth

Sweating across the mind

Leaving u alone

Cold

Blind

Distant from loved ones

Time itself stands still

I am cold in the summer hills

In the spring when outside looks good

I am cold inside and out

I’ll return to my Giants

That don’t wander about

They lie and wait

For my smile to come back

Once I see them

I’ll know I’m better

Then I’ll be warm
