I’m not Perfect

The kind of love I have to give I can't just give away freely.

People don't respect nor understand  the type of love I have to offer.

No my love is not unconditional for I am not God.

Although, every day I strive to be like Jesus I have my limits and I have my boundaries and I'm not there yet.

I can't let you say and do whatever you want to do to me.

I may not tell you everything I want or need, but sometimes I feel like you should be able to read between the lines.

i don’t think I should always be so literal.

sometimes I’ll pout or aggravate you just for some attention.

but you should see I need reassurance of love all the time, and I shouldn’t have to bluntly say that all the time.

Just understand me better and learn to read between the lines.
