I’m Not The Type
I’m Not The Type to think my beauty will take me places
But I know my brain will
Im not the type that cares about feelings
But I know how pain feels
I’m not the type to put my head down like I’m worthless
Instead my head stays up I call it “Walking With A Purpose”
Im not the type to be arrogant
But I’m the type to be confident
Statistics will make you think I’m belligerent
But I was taught to be nothing but Intelligent
Never will I let another persons words define me
So all those statistics are what I put behind me
Others may be thinking I’m faking it
But I’m just focused on making it
Nothing less, I’m putting my best foot forward
This ship is sailing one way & im not going backwards or overboard
Im not the type to make you feel like it’s easy
You have to work for what you want
And money don’t please me
