I’m sorry, stomach

Another day goes by

Another day not eating

I’m starting to get slimmer now,

So the mirror says,

But every time I think of myself,

I think of that bulging stomach and big thighs

And to my stomach, I truly apologize

You’re begging me to feed you but I won’t give in

Because one chip equals another pound

And every single thought of how utterly disgusting I am equals another day without food

Every little insecurity may be just an insecurity to you

But they mean the world to me
