I’m sorry thoughts...
I’m sorry you had to grow up fast. it wasn’t your fault.
I’m sorry you were told you weren’t enough all the time.
I’m sorry you didn’t know everything to do at the right time.
I’m sorry you lost your way for a little while but I’m glad you finally found it. some people won’t ever see how hard you’ve worked because they aren’t supposed to stay in your life and that’s okay.
I’m sorry for all the times you screwed up and at the end of the day, at least tried to fix and mend things.
I’m sorry you gave people your all when they only wanted to give parts.
I’m sorry things aren’t a fairy tale.
I’m sorry you lost a few friends on the journey.
I’m sorry you will never know what graduation will be like with some loved ones there.
I’m sorry you dealt with loss so often.
I’m sorry you struggled to sympathize for people because living in a cruel world was something you were a pro at.
I’m sorry people don’t always understand that being a good person doesn’t always mean never showing weakness and never falling apart.
I’m sorry that when you fell apart, the only person there to pick up the pieces, was you.
I’m sorry you gave up for a little while because life hit you with a million curve balls.
I’m sorry you lost yourself trying to help everyone else find themselves.
I’m sorry.
I’m sorry you can’t look at your reflection and see beauty.
I’m sorry you cry because you can’t tell anyone how you’re feeling because you’ve had “too many” mental breakdowns.
I’m sorry people don’t know who you really are because you’re afraid to show them.
I’m sorry that you don’t face your fears because you can’t.
I’m sorry that whenever you eat, in the back of your mind, you think you’re getting “fatter”.
I’m sorry you hate being a slacker but are afraid to succeed because then people might see you fail on accident.
I’m sorry you’re terrified to tell people your feelings because rejection hurts worse than not saying anything.
I’m sorry your father didn’t love you enough to stay.
I’m sorry you think you’ll never be good enough because he doesn’t love you.
I’m sorry that being beautiful in this society means being 100 lbs.
I’m sorry that you wake up and don’t want to go to school because in school there is no “safe space”.
I’m sorry you put makeup on solely because your ex boyfriend told you, you’re “ugly” without it.
I’m sorry your mom works so hard because she’s the only one.
I’m sorry you feel like an outcast sometimes because you don’t fit into a certain clique.
I’m sorry you hate your body.
I’m sorry you’re hurting right now because boys hurt feelings and change their minds.
I’m sorry you deal with other people’s problems to avoid your own.
I’m sorry you get down on yourself because “how could anyone love someone so ugly and annoying?”
I’m sorry you don’t believe in yourself because people in your past told you, you would be nothing.
I’m sorry you’re you sometimes.
I’m sorry you’re so angry at the world for taking things and people from you.
I’m sorry you never say anything when someone truly hurts you.
I’m sorry you say “it’s okay” or “it’s whatever” when someone violates your trust.
I’m sorry you don’t hate him even though you should.
I’m sorry he hurt you.
I’m sorry it feels like you do this to yourself.
I’m sorry that people walk away so easily and don’t seem to notice the damage after the quake.
I’m sorry people take advantage of your kindness then get upset when you don’t give anymore.
I’m sorry you repeatedly have to tell yourself you’re worth everything.
I’m sorry.
