I’m Starving

Absence of self love

If only it would cling like the fuzz

Filling the void

An emptiness no longer

The coldness of the pit within

It cries a groggy “empty”

With the name tag “full”

How can something like that be?

Food is just a substance

That fills a physical void

But love is a filling substance

That is no where near my guts
