I'm scared to wake up.
I'm scared he knows.
I can see him so clear when he's in my face.
I push he pushes.
With the same force, it feels like we went nowhere.
I move and he does the same, the exact same.
I can stand looking into his eyes.
They're too beautiful.
So much calmer from his rugged exterior.
So I give in and I punch him.
He returns one at the exact time.
But he shatters and disappears when our fists meet.
I know I shouldn't have looked in the mirror that long.
Those eyes weren't mine.
