Jabberwocky of Procrastination

‘Twas boring, and the tired teacher Did gripe and grumble in the classroom: All apathetic were the students, And the wild daydreams overflowed. “Beware the Procrastinator, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Twitter bird, and shun The addictive Facebook!” He took his fluorescent sword in hand; Long time the despicable foe he sought— So rested he by the file cabinet And stood awhile in thought. And, as in scattered thought he stood, The Procrastinator, with eyes of flame, Came plodding through the dingy room, And stumbled as it came! One, two! One, two! And through and through The fluorescent blade went buzz-click! He left it dead, and with its head He went striding back. “And hast thou slain the Procrastinator? Come to my arms, my brilliant boy! O happy day! Yippy! Yayhey! He shouted in his joy. ‘Twas boring, and the tired teacher Did gripe and grumble in the classroom: All apathetic were the students, And the wild daydreams overflowed.
