Jack and the Beanstalk

Jack and the Beanstalk

Was it just a load of crock?

Did the massive, magic vine really tilt over and rock?

Or did the story go differently?

Was Jack really all that he said to be?

This is not a joke,

Jack and his mother were truly broke.

Jack went to the city to meet some new folk.

He bumped into a man who gave him 3 seeds.

"To relieve your troubles, grow some weed."

When jack returned back home,

He caught his mom talking all alone.

It must be dad trying to pick another bone.

"It's been 2 years, stop arguing on the phone!"

After a few weeks,

the plant begins to blossom.

Jack has some hope that this will help out some.

Late night headlights often appear outside of the house,

Which made mom suspicious,

And making money was no longer allowed.

Jack did not listen,

Until he saw the red and blue lights glisten

The sounds of sirens whistlin

Panic was in submission

Jack had no other decision

He destroyed the plants,

Leaving his mom in the tracks

And uh,

This isn't a fairytale

So it's not gunna end well.

But if it wasn't for that last sac,

Maybe we would have jack back.
