Jaded

Dreary, Dreary, Dreary

He whispers, softly in my ear

I'm wondering now if he really meant for me to hear.

Dreary, Dreary, Dreary

My weary eyes closed

I'm wondering why I always have to act so composed.

Dreary, Dreary, Dreary

My friends are screaming

I wonder if  I'm actually only dreaming

Because

I feel as if I have fallen,

down in a snow white world and

I am now naked as the wind whistles through the trees

and I am chilled to the bone,

Dreary, Dreary, Dreary

He whispiers, eyes glittering like gold

His arms tighten around me,

Yet I am still cold.
