Janina's Song

You took me to the funeral for all my fears and they were cast away. Even though we'll soon depart the stars connect our ever wandering hearts. So go on and inspire those who haven't felt the warmth of your embrace. Fireflies in America forever shine their light in Germany. So never forget: Life is a short score written in pencil You can change every word or you can write an accidental. Harmonies collide even in the brightest times, But just keep making music and I promise you'll survive. You know I'm no good at goodbyes so let's refuse to use that word at all. I'll be there when you need a friend or you find that your back's against the wall. Nina, don't you worry about anything. Just take in every moment that life offers us So never forget: Life is a short score written in pencil You can change every word or you can write an accidental. Harmonies collide even in the brightest times, But just keep making music and I promise you'll survive. Copyright Courtney Robinson 2012
