Janis Joplin

                                                                                                       All souls have color.

And mine is yellow.

It is because of you.

You brighten my soul.

I find more beauty in words,

More meaning in life,

Less fear in living,

Less care in caring.

Because of you.

Your beauty and solace in music,

Your acceptance of everyone,

makes you beautiful to me.

I wish you were still walking the earth

So I could thank you

For everything

You’ve done.
